Do you need a filter? No, I am not talking about an A/C, vehicle or a crazy person that should not have an online dating profile. That is an entirely different question and if you have asked the questions: “Do you like me?” or “Why don’t you dye your hair brown?” Yes. You need a filter. Here are a couple people that need a business filter:
Mouthy Martha. Mouthy Martha constantly interrupts speakers or other people to talk about her business. Everything that comes out of her mouth is consistently giving others advice and interrupting others to self-promote her business. Mouthy Martha needs a filter … or a permanent case of laryngitis.
Cathy Credential. Cathy is constantly telling everyone she is the worlds’s greatest XYZ and here is her verbal resume. When noone as even asked. Most people tend to zone out when Cathy Credential starts mouthing off ( a self-filter, you may say), but the bottom line is she needs a filter. Or, ear muffs to hand out to others.
Braggy Brenda. Braggy Brenda is full of herself and all she talks about is how much she makes, what car she drives, how much she bills per hour. Braggy Brenda completely lacks social skills and all she knows how to do is brag about herself. Braggy Brenda is not only annoying, but has zero friends as a result. Braggy Brenda needs a filter – or a mass email sent out to others warning them about her potential appearance.
