Great Book Publicity

With book public relations just like any other product or service, there needs to be a great media tie-in. First, you need to contact the correct reporter. A reporter who solely focuses on pets for example would not run something on a cookbook, unless it is cooking for your pets. As an author, you should also consider timing. The pandemic has created challenges for people around the world, so while the news was initially running with massive COVID stories – it would not be the best time to launch a PR campaign for a luxury clothing brand; when most families are focused on paying the bills and keeping food on the table. This particular spot was a great tie-in because families who were thrown into homeschooling and having kids at home full-time, were simply looking for extra kiddo activities that did not involve video game marathons. Enjoy the spot here! #EAH.
