I read this great newsletter that was written by KristyRogersConnects and I completely resonated with it. If you spell a potential client’s name wrong you are a done deal, and not only with our clients at M Com Publishing and M Communications. Here is the deal – if you connect with someone take the extra care to spell their name right. For example, take me – Michele Smith not to be confused with anyone with the traditional American spelling of the name “Michelle”. Any email to me addressed to me as “Michelle” is way annoying, because since I was born I could never have those cutsie-poo little name tags, key tags, anything for that matter with Michele spelled wrong. OK. Here is the deal. The second you spell someone’s name wrong no matter how nice the email, they will conisder not doing business with you first. My point? Take the time and spell it right.
